High Chief Ebipade Kari, the All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate for Delta State House of Assembly, Warri North Constituency II, has expressed gratitude to stakeholders of Egbema and aspirants who stepped down for him, saying unity is critical to the growth of the kingdom.

Kari spoke on Saturday, June 27, 2026, during a meeting convened by the Egbema Political Forum, EPF, under the APC platform. The meeting was held at Bendel Estate, Ogborikoko, Effurun, Warri, and was presided over by the Forum’s President, Bishop Sunny Jero.

Addressing PEBNEWS at the meeting, Kari said his emergence was made possible by the decision of other aspirants to withdraw in the interest of Egbema.

“I am not here to say much, but to say thank you to my leaders, brothers, and sisters, especially from the Egbema axis of Warri North Local Government Area.

“I also extend a hand of fellowship to my brothers and sisters who were aspirants but later withdrew. They did so because Egbema is one. They believe that oneness and peace can only promote and develop a kingdom. For that reason, they stepped down for me. I say thank you to them," Kari said.

When asked why the people should trust him with the mandate, Kari said trust must be matched with results.

“Trust is one thing, delivery is another. When people place a mandate in your hands, it is your duty to work and ensure you deliver so that the trust will not be betrayed,” he stated.

He also called on Egbema sons and daughters to support his campaign and governance agenda.

“My message to my brothers and sisters is that Egbema is one. Whenever I need their assistance or advice, I will call on them. One person cannot do the work alone. It must be a collective effort and a collective movement if we are to take Egbema to a higher level,” Kari said.

Recalls that Warri North Constituency II was recently created and covers predominantly Egbema communities in the riverine area of Warri North LGA.
