Ogbudugbudu National Executive Council invites public to 3-day Utolu day celebration
The Ogbudugbudu National Executive Council, Egbema Kingdom, Warri North LGA, Delta State, has invited the general public to their 3-day Great Utolu Day Annual Celebration (Ogbudugbudu Day) Oboro Toi 2026.
Scheduled to hold under the distinguished chairmanship of Engr. Warefa Authur, CEO Tuwasco Marine, and Mr. Akuyoma Honesty, the event promises a vibrant showcase of Ijaw culture and heritage.
Highlights include a football match, praise night by ministers of God, Boat Regatta, cultural dance contest, history telling by elders, and music performances by renowned Ijaw artists.
Gen. Super Layefa Kamboh, aka "7 Seas", a prominent Niger Delta agitator, urges public participation, emphasizing the importance of preserving cultural heritage.
"Ogbudugbudu Day is a celebration of our rich history and traditions. We invite all to join us and experience the best of Ijaw culture," Gen. Super said.
The event aims to promote unity, cultural exchange, and community development.
