In his sermon, Most. REV'D. Isaac Obie of the African Church spoke that Nigerians should be careful of how our actions give us names.
"Everybody has a name. I have one, or two, or three. We all do the same. But in the process of life, you give yourself extra nameas. There are people whose names are very quiet. Their name is passive. But the name they give to themselves becomes the one with which they move all over the society. Strive for a good name. "
Obie said, "The hope to change a bad name is for you to adjust your ways. How many of you see a police officer who lived long, up to retirement, and after retirement, does he continue? Our father, Ovbagbedia, JP Uhurhie-Osadjere II.
"When some people saw this photograph, they asked questions. Was he a policeman? Yes. Not just an ordinary policeman, a policeman that rose to a high ranking of the police force. But he didn't oppress people
"Instead, he used his office well. And so no amount of war, that people's war, would have affected his life. And that's why he lived his life peacefully to the ripe age of 91."
