Olomu kingdom commences 7 day burial ceremony for late Ohworode
The ancient Olomu Kingdom will on Tuesday commence a seven day burial ceremony for its departed Monarch, HRM M.O.P Ovbagbedia, Uhurie-Osadjere II, Ohworode of Olomu Kingdom.
This was contained in an announcement by Olorogun Albert Akpomudje SAN, Otota of Olomu Kingdom.
According to the Life Bencher and Olomu Prime Minister, “The activities for the final rites of the departed Ohworode will commence on Tuesday with Praise and Worship for Day One.
“Day two will begin with rites by the three ruling Houses and later by all Illorogun of Olomu Kingdom.
“Day three will be Olomu Traditional Burial. Day four will be UPU Day/other Kingdom Presidents-General of Urhobo Kingdom.
“Day five will be the grand finale and reception. Day six will Thanksgiving/In-laws condolences. Day seven will be Traditional Rulers Day.” He added.
Akpomudje urged all Olomu sons and daughters to attend all the programmes to give maximum respect to the late Monarch.
