In the heart of Port Harcourt and Warri Delta State, Pebnews reports that Miss Doris Ifeoma Okeimor is quietly making waves not just as a reliable Bolt driver, but as a multi-skilled entrepreneur combining transport services with professional paint production, house painting and scridding work services.

A native of Kwale, Delta State, and a graduate of Mass Communication from Rivers State University of Science and Technology (RSUST), Miss Doris has built a career rooted in creativity and resilience. From a young age, she was drawn to the arts sketching, drawing, and experimenting with colours and has since translated that passion into practical, income-generating services.

“After school, I looked around at the economy and asked myself, Why look for a job when I already have these gifts?” she said. With the rising cost of living, transport, and basic needs, she chose the self-employment path and hasn’t looked back since.

Her registered Bolt transport service, based in both Port Harcourt and Warri, offers reliable pick-up, drop-off, and charter trips across major cities such as Sapele, Benin, Asaba, Abraka, and Port Harcourt itself. She ensures safety, punctuality, and customer satisfaction a service that has earned her loyal clients in and out of town.

Pebnews report that, beyond the wheels, Miss Doris is just as handy with a brush and trowel. She specialises in production of different types of paint, house painting, POP, and scridding, the decorative and protective finish work that gives homes and offices their polished final look. Her experience includes working with Details to Dust, a company that handled several projects during former Governor Wike’s tenure. She has also trained others in the craft and hopes to expand in the business.

“If the government or private sectors can engage me for official painting projects, set up an empowerment programme where we could offer training services to women and youth, or  allow me to build a team and take on contracts, I’m more than ready,” she stated.

Her entrepreneurial journey also has roots in sport. In 2012, she competed in the light heavyweight category for boxing in Rivers State and won a gold medal. Though her time in the ring didn’t last as long as planned because of personal reasons as she stated, it instilled in her the drive and discipline she brings into her businesses today.

To young women and fellow Nigerians struggling with job limitations, she offers this advice: “Don’t rely only on your job or your spouse alone because of the nature of the country's economy, Learn a handwork that pays not for fun alone she added. Painting, driving, scridding, POP, mechanic, hair barbing/braiding no job is for men or women alone. If you have passion, you can do it and earn well.”

With a strong work ethic, proven skill, and a desire to uplift others through training and employment, Miss Doris Ifeoma represents the kind of entrepreneurial spirit Nigeria needs adaptable, honest, and purpose-driven.

For Bolt transport bookings or professional painting/scridding enquiries, Miss Doris is available in both Port Harcourt, Warri and surrounding cities.
