JUST IN: 21 abducted PCM's rescued in Imo security operation

Security forces have rescued 20 prospective NYSC members and a civilian following an intelligence-driven operation in Imo State.

The victims were travelling through the state when they were reportedly abducted. Their disappearance prompted a joint search operation involving the military, Department of State Services (DSS), police and other security agencies.

The 21 victims have since been taken to a DSS facility, where they are receiving medical attention, security sources said.

Authorities are now working to piece together the circumstances of the abduction while intensifying efforts to track down and arrest any suspects still at large.
