Oborevwori’s MORE Agenda: Angele Inspects Warri, Osubi, Ejeba Projects

The Delta State Commissioner for Housing, Hon. Godknows Angele, has inspected ongoing construction projects in Warri, Osubi and Ejeba as part of efforts to monitor their progress and ensure compliance with government standards.

The inspection covered the ongoing construction of the Delta State Governor’s Lodge and Government Office Annex in Warri, as well as the Judges’ Quarters at Osubi, Warri, being executed by Derums Global Services Limited.

Speaking during the inspection, Angele described the projects as a testament to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s MORE Agenda, which he said had continued to drive infrastructure development across the state.

The commissioner disclosed that the Governor’s Lodge and Government Office Annex in Warri are scheduled for completion on September 17, 2026, while the Judges’ Quarters at Osubi are expected to be completed by December 2026.

Angele expressed satisfaction with the quality and pace of work, noting that the projects were being executed in line with the standards and specifications of the Delta State Government.

He urged the contractors to sustain the standard of workmanship throughout the projects, stressing that Governor Oborevwori expected quality infrastructure that conforms to modern specifications.

According to him, timely completion of the projects would further demonstrate the administration’s commitment to improving infrastructure and enhancing the welfare of Deltans.

Responding, the contractor thanked the Delta State Government and the Commissioner for Housing for the confidence reposed in the company, assuring that the projects would be delivered within the stipulated time and according to specifications.

The commissioner thereafter proceeded to Ejeba, where he inspected the ongoing Science and Technology projects comprising two halls and 10 offices.

Angele disclosed that the Ejeba project is scheduled for completion by the second week of October 2026, adding that the inspection was part of the ministry’s continued monitoring of government projects across the state.
