2027: Adeleke Pledges 100% Osun Votes for Tinubu

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has reiterated his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections, promising to deliver the state’s votes to the President.

Adeleke made the commitment on Sunday during a meeting with the National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ajibola Basiru.

The governor said his support for Tinubu was genuine, stressing that he does not make promises he cannot keep and that political commitments should be guided by integrity.

“I don’t make empty promises. When I said we will deliver Osun State votes to our dear father, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, I meant it 100 per cent,” Adeleke said.

He urged political actors in the state to put aside their differences and work together in support of the President.

“Politics must be with integrity. We are all from Osun State. Let’s forget our differences and work for the President,” he added.

Adeleke said his political philosophy was influenced by the values instilled in him by his late father, whom he described as a diplomat and labour union politician.

The governor’s declaration further reinforces his previously stated support for the Tinubu administration ahead of the 2027 elections, despite belonging to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
