CJF hails Ekpan DPO, Pondi, Ofoni over Police Station revamp
A group under the auspices of the Concerned Journalist Forum, CJF today, praised CSP Saibu Braimoh, Divisional Police Officer of Ekpan Police Station, Effurun Divisional Headquarters, in Delta State, for upgrading the headquarters' facilities and creating a conducive work environment for his officers.
This is contained in a statement jointly signed by CJF National President, Comrade Emeka Nwokocha and the Secretary, Celestine Ukah.
The group hinted that the upgrade underscores CSP Braimoh's exceptional dedication to fostering operational excellence through an improved station environment.
According to the CJF, CSP Braimoh took office on May 26, 2026, and his rapid work to enhance the station's aesthetics represents a rare and commendable feat.
The group further praised CSP Braimoh, stating that he creates a positive, lasting impact and drives meaningful development wherever he serves.
"This is commendable and we encourage him to do more and never to relent," it added.
After visiting the station, the group praised the facility as "wonderful" and commended ACP Aliyu Shaba for his mentorship and guidance to CSP Braimoh and the division's officers.
The group also thanked Stakeholders and Ekpan youths including Soso Pondi, the Uvwie Local Government Council Chairman, Hon (Chief) Anthony Ofoni, the Chief Executive Officer of Herpotential and Special Needs Initiative, Mr. Tony Ukpetenan and the Chairman of Ekpan EDC, Victory, for their support to the Ekpan Police Division assuring them that CSP Braimoh and his men will work assiduously to protect lives and properties in Ekpan and its environs.
