2027: ‘We stand with Tinubu, Oborevwori’ - APC’s Ebipade Kari declares at Koko
High Chief Ebipade Kari, the All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate for the Delta State House of Assembly, Warri North Constituency II, has declared full support for the re-election bids of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in 2027.
Chief Kari made the declaration on Wednesday during a sensitization event for the Renewed Hope Agenda held in Koko, headquarters of Warri North Local Government Area, Delta State.
Speaking at the gathering, the APC hopeful commended the state government for its developmental strides and urged residents to rally behind Governor Oborevwori for a second term.
He said: "I greet my elder brother, Right Honourable Chief Funkekeme Solomon. Your visit to Warri North is a great joy to our people.
"Our governor is a working governor. In that regard, the youth, elders, men and women of Warri North will stand and queue behind the governor for a second term.
"We will also stand with the governor to vote for the president, because what President Tinubu has for this country is worth voting for."
The political gathering attracted party faithful from different wards and communities across the LGA.
The State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Delta State, Rt. Hon. Solomon Funkekeme, was the distinguished guest at the event.
In his address, Hon. Funkekeme called on Nigerians to support President Tinubu’s re-election, citing stability in the education sector.
"Nigerians need to vote for Tinubu because, because of him, there is no ASUU strike and the education system is stable," he said.
He added: "Tinubu is a strong man, and that is why he is standing strong unlike former President Goodluck Jonathan, our brother, who ran away."
Also speaking, the Chairman of Warri North LGA, Hon. Festus Ashima, welcomed the sensitization team and pledged the council’s support for the Renewed Hope message at the grassroots.
"Your sensitization mission today will help deepen the understanding of the Renewed Hope policies at the grassroots," he stated.
"I assure you that our people are ready to listen, engage, and take ownership of the message."
The event ended with a call on party members to intensify voter mobilization ahead of the 2027 general elections.
