Suicide: Delta Police Command confirm arrest of 44yr old content creator, Odogwu Asaba over alleged rape of 21yr old girl in Delta

The Delta State Police Command led by CP Yemi John Oyeyemi have confirmed the arrest of a forty-four(44) year old popular content creator simply identified as Odogwu Asaba.

The suspect was alleged rape to have raped a twenty-one(21) year old girl(name withheld). 

It was said that the deceased who was lured into Asaba by the suspect under the pretence of wanting to help her, committed suicide after the incident.

According to him, "It's confirmed but am in a meeting now."

It was learnt that the suspect was arrested yesterday at his residence in Asaba following a petition by a human right activist, Comrade Israel Joe. 

He is currently cooling of his heels in custody of the Police as he confessed to the alleged crime. 

Warri based human right activist, Comrade Israel Joe have commended the Delta State Police Command for the arrest of the suspect just as he insisted that justice should be seen to have been served in the matter.
