Tantita coordinator hails Tompolo as "Pathfinder" on birthday
Engr. Sam Uwatse, Tantita Coordinator for Warri River, Ugbodede Community, and sections of the Trans-Forcados pipeline, has described High Chief (Dr.) Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, as a visionary leader and champion of the Niger Delta as he marks his birthday.
In a goodwill message on Sunday, Uwatse praised Tompolo’s decades of service, courage, and influence in shaping lives, empowering communities, and defending national assets. He described Tompolo as a “pathfinder” who bridges tradition and progress while inspiring a new generation of leaders.
“Beyond the titles and acclaim, he remains rooted in loyalty, resilience, and community. His commitment to education, youth empowerment, and the preservation of Niger Delta continues to impact countless lives across the region and beyond,” Uwatse said.
He added that Tompolo’s legacy of sacrifice and advocacy has elevated kings and uplifted ordinary people, positioning him as a steadfast voice for the Niger Delta.
