Ijaws own Warri, Eselemo declares as IPF inaugurates new leadership

Frontline politician, Collins Eselemo on Thursday said Ijaws own Warri as the Ijaw Publishers Forum,IPF inaugurated a new leadership to pilot its affairs in the next two years.  

Eselemo made the declaration at the just concluded inauguration of new leadership of Ijaw Publishers Forum, held at the Tunde Smooth Playground in Warri. 

Eselemo who was a guest speaker at the event urged Ijaw people present at the event to demand for quit noice from anyone who comes to pride themselves as landlord before them. 

According to him, "Okere road belong to Ijaw man" as he cited other major streets. 

He noted that Ijaws owned properties in Warri before the enactment of the 1963 Land Act.

He also said what their neighbours are doing with Ogbe-Community/Kingdom is politically orchestrated by some Political forces. 

Eselemo who frowned at Ijaw politicians who were absent at the event said he had wanted the event "ceremonious" with the Ijaws registering their presence as the true owners of Warri.
