The Department of State Services (DSS) has arrested Innocent Chukwuma in Oyigbo, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, for allegedly using his social media platform to call for a military coup in Nigeria.

Chukwuma, reportedly urged the armed forces to “suspend the Nigerian Government” and “dispose of the APC.”

In one of his posts, he wrote that a coup in Nigeria was needed, adding that the military should dispose of the APC and suspend the Nigerian Government, describing it as “all we need now.”

He further claimed that it would eventually happen, urging Nigerians to support the military, which he said were the only ones who could save the country.

Chukwuma also accused the current administration of selling the country to the West and alleged that foreign powers control Nigeria’s intelligence apparatus. According to him, only the military could “reset this country.”

A security source confirmed that the suspect was tracked to his residence and arrested by DSS operatives, adding that he is currently cooperating with investigators.
