President Tinubu Reappoints Dankaka as FCC Chair, Approves 31 New Commissioners

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the reappointment of Dr. Muheeba Dankaka as Executive Chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC) for a second five-year term, alongside a sweeping list of new and returning appointments to the Commission.

In a statement released Tuesday, the Presidency confirmed the reappointment of Dr. Dankaka, whose leadership of the FCC has now been extended for another term. Also approved is the appointment of Mohammed Musa as Secretary of the Commission, while Kayode Oladele of Ogun State retains his position as a Commissioner.

The President also extended the tenures of the following Commissioners:

* Lawal Ya'u Roni – Jigawa State
* Abubakar Atiku Bunu – Kebbi State
* Eludayo Eluyemi – Osun State
