A human rights activist, Comrade(Amb.) Derrick Oritsematosan Agberen today said the criminal charges leveled against Comfort Bob by the Ibom Airline will not see the light of the day.

Comrade Agberen who made the call in a statement said, "they will be withdrawn, and the airline will do something behind the scenes. Otherwise, they will pay for multiple torts.

Comrade Agberen also said Nigerians shouldn't be too quick to give "social media verdicts" on such matters like in the case of Comfort Bob regardless of how she was dressed and her hustle.

He urged the Minister of Aviation&Aerospace, Mr. Festus Keyamo SAN should intervene in the case of Ibom Airline Passenger,Comfort Bob and ensure she's released from the facility of the Nigerian Correctional Services, Kirikiri in Lagos State.

He also said provision of necessary assistance should be made available for the lady.

Comrade Agberen insisted however, that, "Akwa Ibom Airline and their staff must account for their unprofessional conduct towards Miss Comfort Emmanson."

It would be recalled that the lady had an altercation with some Staff of Ibom Airline who also posted filmed and posted her naked video and photographs on social media yesterday. The Ibom Airline promptly arrested and arraigned her in Court and she was remanded in prison custody for failing to provide the needed sureties at the time.

According to Comrade Agberen, "It has been the habit of the Nigerian judiciary to focus excessive attention and render decisive judgments on minor offenses, whereas individuals who embezzle and continue to embezzle public funds move freely within society.

"Sadly enough, these categories of individuals allegedly even participate in and direct most of the judicial decisions.

"The moment the aircraft crew refused to let her disembark, she became the victim, and everything that followed were legal wrongs committed against her."
