Group appreciates Delsu Dean Student Affairs for rescuing 200 level student struck by vehicle

AKA “No Justice, No Peace.” have appreciated the Dean of Student Affairs, Delta State University Abraka, Prof. Njoseh Ignatius Nkonyeasua for his prompt rescue of a 200 level student, Master Terry Onotu who was struck by a vehicle while riding a bicycle to school to write his examination. 


The 200 level student is the son of the National Treasurer ISRCA,Comrade Ufuoma S. Onotu. 

ISRCA National Coordinator, Comrade Derrick Oritsematosan Agberen sent the appreciation to the Dean Student Affairs in a statement sent to Our Correspondent in Warri. 

Comrade Agberen said,"It was reported that the driver, who had collided with the motorcycle, lost consciousness while at the steering wheel, stepped on the accelerator pedal instead of the brake pedal considering the bad spots on the roads, striking the motorcycle from behind."

According to him,"Both the motorcycle rider and Master Terry collapsed on the spot and were immediately transported to the General Hospital, Abraka. 

"I promptly notified the Dean of Students Affairs, who mobilized the Director of Health to the General Hospital with the school ambulance. 

"Subsequently, they transferred him to the School Health Center, where he received stabilization, treatment, and he’s still receiving proper care.

"Indeed, the students of Delta State University, Abraka, are in capable hands with the likes of the Vice Chancellor, Dean of Students Affairs, and other administrative boards, who are proactive regarding the students' welfare and are quick to resolve problems."

Comrade Agberen said,"I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the Dean of Students Affairs, Delta State University, Abraka, Prof. Njoseh Ignatius Nkonyeasua, for his prompt response to my call earlier this morning. 

"At approximately 8:13am this morning, I received a call from my friend and brother, my personal assistant and National Treasurer ISRCA; Comrade Ufuoma S. Onotu, regarding his son, Master Terry Onotu, a 200-level student of the SLT Department, who was struck by a vehicle while riding a bicycle to school to take his exams."
