Historic development: NBA Udu Branch gets NBA-ICLE accreditation

The Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Udu Branch has secured accreditation as a Service Provider of the  Institute of Continuing Legal Education (NBA-ICLE). 

The good news was contained in a statement by the Publicity Secretary, Chief Akpokona Omafuaire, AICMC Tuesday.

According to him, "Dear Esteemed Members of the NBA Udu Branch,

“I bring you warm greetings on behalf of the Executive Committee of our noble branch ably led by J. E. Odohisi Esq.

“It is with great pleasure and a deep sense of responsibility that I announce to you that the NBA Udu Branch has now been officially accredited as a Service Provider of the Nigerian Bar Association – Institute of Continuing Legal Education (NBA-ICLE).

“This great feat is a testament of purposeful leadership and marks a giant leap in our commitment to enhancing the professional capacity and competence of our members.

"As an accredited service provider, qualifying events organized by the Branch and its various committees will now attract Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points, thereby contributing directly to the career advancement and statutory compliance of our members.

“We encourage all members to take full advantage of upcoming knowledge-sharing platforms, seminars, workshops, and symposia hosted by the Branch, as these events now provide added value beyond the intellectual benefit—they now count towards your CPD record.

“We remain committed to curating meaningful, relevant, and practical programming that equips us all to thrive in an increasingly complex legal and regulatory environment.
