Okwa Favour Oghenemine, a brilliant Mathematics graduate, has emerged as the overall best graduating student at Delta State University’s 17th Convocation Ceremony, securing a remarkable CGPA of 4.95 and earning widespread accolades, cash rewards, and job offers.

Delta State University, Abraka, witnessed a moment of pride and celebration as Okwa Favour Oghenemine was honoured as the overall best graduating student during the institution’s 17th Convocation Ceremony. Her stellar academic performance, culminating in an outstanding CGPA of 4.95 in Mathematics, set her apart among her peers.

In recognition of her achievement, Oghenemine received over ₦1 million in cash prizes from the university, the Students' Union Government (SUG), and several prominent dignitaries who attended the convocation. Beyond the monetary rewards, she was presented with automatic employment offers from Delta State University, the newly established Federal Polytechnic Orogun, and the Delta State Government.

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, who graced the event, praised Oghenemine’s academic excellence and humorously remarked that "good grades pay," playfully leaving her with the enviable decision of choosing between the multiple job opportunities now at her disposal.
